Welcome to the perOXide Framework Homepage!

Version 2.1.0 is out

June 23rd, 2009 (Kork) - We finally released version 2.1.0 of the framework. This version has a lot of exciting new features such as:

  • Authentication support against LDAP and existing user databases
  • Completely refactored caching mechanism which now allows caching compiled nOx templates for even faster template processing
  • The authentication cookies are now secured against replay attacks.
  • The DBQuery API is now capable of doing outer joins (if supported by the underlying database).
  • DBObjects no longer require getters and setters and are thus much easier and faster to code.
  • The spawn installation now comes as a separate package to ease up installation of a spawn.
  • General optimizations and refactorings of the code base.

You can download the new version's spawn and full installation packages from our download page. Again, should you find any problems with this release, your feedback is most welcome in our issue tracker!

Version 2.0.3 is out

January 12th, 2009 (Kork) - After fixing up a lot of issues with the server (why spend time on coding when you can waste it on hackers breaking into your server) finally version 2.0.3 is out. This is a maintenance release and should fix most of the issues we found in perOXide during regular development work. The changes can be found in our issue tracker. You can download the new version from our download page. Again, should you find any problems with this release, your feedback is most welcome in our issue tracker!

New server hardware / Roadmap / New release

September 29th, 2008 (Kork) - The server hardware has now finally been switched over to a new and more powerful machine. There is still some stuff to be done (first and furthermost setting up daily backups), but all the links should now be stable. The roadmap has been moved over from Wiki to the bugtracker, so it is now always in sync with all the issues that are reported in the bugtracker. We are currently planning a maintenance release within the next few days which fixes a few bugs that we have found while working on projects with 2.0.2, so stay tuned for updates.

SVN is now available

September 11th, 2008 (Kork) - For those who want to ride on the bleeding edge, our subversion repository is now available. The subversion repository always contains the latest changes which will be part of the upcoming versions of perOXide. Instructions about how to access the repository can be found in our Download section.
